PM congratulates Indian Hockey team

New Delhi, Oct 30 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the rest of the nation on Sunday to celebrate and congratulate Indian Hockey team for beating Pakistan to lift the Asian Champions Trophy title.

Modi tweeted: "Very proud of our hockey team. Congratulations on winning the Asian Champions Trophy. @TheHockeyIndia."

India beat Pakistan 3-2 to lift the Asian Champions Trophy here on Sunday.

India had last won the trophy in 2011.
