BCCI moves Supreme Court seeking money to host Rajkot Test
Mumbai, Nov 9 (IBNS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court, seeking funds to host the first test match against England in Rajkot, reports said.
The apex court has frozen the disbursement of funds from BCCI to other affiliated boards till the governing body complies with the Lodha panel recommendation.
Meanwhile, Gopal Sankaranarayanan, secretary of the Lodha panel has told media that the BCCI and the member boards are yet to submit a compliance report.
