MCG defeat: Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq hints at retirement

Melbourne, Dec 30 (IBNS): Hinting to take a strong decision like retirement, Pakistan Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq on Friday said he will 'think' if he would play in the Sydney Test against Australia next year.

He said he will need to think on his future.

"I always believe that if I can't contribute anything to the team then there's no point in staying there," the skipper was quoted as saying by Dawn News.

"This is the point where I just need to think about that, even before the next game and after the series. In the next couple of days, I will think about that and decide what to do because there is no point in just hanging around and doing nothing," the cricketer said.

Australia defeated Pakistan by an innings and 18 runs in the second Test of the series.
