Bangalore, Mar 31 (IBNS): Indian player KL Rahul, who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore, is likely to miss the tenth edition of Indian Premier League due to shoulder injury, as less than a week left before the commencement of the tournament, according to media reports, on Friday.

Rahul who was suffering from shoulder injury for the entire test series against Australia, would fly off to England for treatment very soon which might compel him to stay out of IPL 2017.

RCB took a blow with Rahul's missing of IPL as its skipper Virat Kohli is yet to recover from the shoulder injury too.

Kohli missed the fourth and final test match against Australia due to injury that he received while fielding during Ranch test.

The first match of IPL 10 will be played on April 5 as RCB to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
