Mumbai, May 24 (IBNS): Giving a clear indication of the killer instinct of his team in the upcoming Champions Trophy, Indian captain Virat Kohli said that they want to win the tournament without losing a single game, according to media reports on Wednesday.

While interacting with the media before the team's departure for the tour to UK, Kohli said that they would have to be at the top of the game from ball one.

The Indian captain, who had a fair show in the recently concluded tenth edition of Indian Premier League, said that "I will never play for redemption. My only motivation is to keeping winning games for my country", while speaking about his poor performance.

Kohli had scored just 308 runs in 10 matches much unlikely to his performance in the last season of IPL, where he did hit four centuries.

Not only batting, Royal Challengers Bangalore led by Kohli had the worst performance in this IPL where they came last and a disastrous performance with bat against Kolkata Knight Riders in one of the losing matches.

However, he boasted on two senior players of his team like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh whom he think can show their skill if given independence.

In one of the matches against England in the last season, both the senior pro were seen to play a major role by hitting centuries and building a huge partnership after India had lost all the top order batsmen early including the Indian captain.

Champions Trophy which is also called Mini World Cup is considered by the skipper as a more standard tournament than the World Cup.

Speaking about the game against Pakistan on June 4, Kohli said: "India Pakistan game is always exciting but for us it is a game of cricket. The hype around India-Pakistan game not always in our control."

The tournament will begin on June 1.
