Real Madrid signs Jesus Vallejo

Madrid, July 7 (IBNS): Spanish champions Real Madrid on Friday said it has signed Jesus Vallejo as the first team player.

He will be wearing the number three shirt for the club.

Club president Florentino Pérez was quoted as saying by club website: "“Last season was magnificent. Real Madrid have made history once again but we know what these triumphs mean. That's why we're working to perfect this already fantastic team. We've got a great squad, but staying faithful to our non-conformist spirit, we're looking to take another step forward."

Vallejo was quoted as saying by the website: “I'm going to give my all for this badge and this shirt.”

He said :"Many thanks to everyone; to you, Mr. President for your words, to the club, who have shown faith in me when they signed me, and again now as a first-team player. I know this is far from over, there's still so much to come for me. With the values of humility, effort and sacrifice that my parents have fostered in me, I hope to be here for many years, at the best club in the world. I would like to thank my family and friends and my girlfriend as well, who couldn't be here today.”
