New Delhi, July 7 (IBNS): FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 welcome Coal India Limited as a National Supporter for the tournament.

President of All India Football Federation and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee Praful Patel said: “We are delighted at the partnership with Coal India for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017. Coal India has been a strong supporter of Indian sport, and their presence will definitely help in taking the message of football to every corner of our country.”

Coal India Limited joins Bank of Baroda and Hero MotoCorp and becomes the third National Supporter of the tournament.

With less than four months to go to the event, there are now only three spots available for local affiliates to come on board and pledge their support for the first FIFA tournament in the country.
