Anil Kumble appeals to save tiger on International Tiger Day

Bangalore, July 29 (IBNS): Former Indian spinner Anil Kumble, who is known for his interest in wildlife photography, appealed to save tigers for future generations on the International Tiger Day on Saturday.

The former Indian test captain shared a picture of a tiger on Instagram which was clicked by him.

The caption of the post appeals to save tiger as the decaying number is a big concern of the country.

The post reads: "Most majestic in the wild! Let us save them for future generations #InternationalTigerDay."

The former Indian coach is often seen to travel for wildlife photography.

The International Tiger Day or Global Tiger Day is celebrated on July 29 mainly to raise awareness about the tiger conservation. It was started in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit.
