Rafael Nadal to face Juan Martin del Potro in US Open semis, Roger Federer crashes out

New York, Sept 7 (IBNS); Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal continued his strong form at the US Open as he moved to the semi-finals of the tournament by beating Russian teenager Andrey Rublev.

Nadal defeated his opponent Rublev 6-1 6-2 6-2 in the quarter-finals clash.

The match lasted for one hour and 37 minutes.

Meanwhile, he will face Juan Martin del Potro in the last four stage who defeated Swiss master Roger Federer in the quarter-finals clash.

Potro defeated Roger 7-5, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 to set a match against Rafael in the semi-finals.
