India take on New Zealand in third T20I in Kerala today
Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 7 (IBNS): India will take on New Zealand in a series deciding T20I on the ongoing bilateral series here on Tuesday.
The series is leveled 1-1.
While the first match was won by India, New Zealand clinched a thumping victory in the second T20I of the series.
Both the matches were high scoring.
In the second match, India had lost to the Kiwis by 40 runs despite a good knock by skipper Virat Kohli.
The defeat in the second match has brought former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni under scanner because of his inability to go hard right from the beginning of the innings.
Though several retired cricketers have opined that Dhoni must make his way for any young cricketer at least in T20, the Indian team stood beside the World Cup winning captain.
The third T20I is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m..
