New Delhi, Dec 2 (IBNS): Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first in the third Test match on the ongoing series against Sri Lanka at the Feroz Shah Kotla here on Saturday.

India made two changes to their squad by bringing in Umesh Yadav in place of Mohammed Shami and Shikhar Dhawan for KL Rahul.

Dhawan did not play the second Test match in Nagpur due to his personal reasons.

Sri Lanka made three changes to their team. Sandakan, Dhananjaya de Silva and Roshen are playing the third Test for the visitors in places of Rangana Herath, Thirimanne and Shanaka respectively.

India lead the three-match Test series 1-0.
