Bumrah, Parthiv named in 17-member Indian squad for South Africa series

New Delhi, Dec 4 (IBNS): The All-India Senior Selection Committee of the BCCI on Monday announced teams for T20 series against Sri Lanka and Test series against South Africa.

Virat Kohli has been rested for the T20 series against the Lankans.

Rohit Sharma, like the ODI, will captain the side in the T20 series in the absence of Kohli.

India squad for Paytm T20I series against Sri Lanka: Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd Siraj, Basil Thampi, Jaydev Unadkat

Kohli will return for the Test series in South Africa.

India named 17-member squad for South Africa tour.

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah and wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel have been included in the team.
