Roger Federer beats Aljaz Bedene to reach Australian Open second round

Melbourne, Jan 16 (IBNS): Swiss Tennis master Roger Federer scripted another easy victory over Aljaz Bedene in a Australian Open clash here on Monday.

Federer reached the next round of the tournament by beating his opponent 6-3 6-4 6-3.

Federer made his place in the second round of the tournament with this victory.

At the age of 36, Federer will be aiming to win his sixth Australian Open and 20th Grand Slam title.

The match lasted for 99 minutes.

The Swiss will now face Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff in the next round.
