India to take on South Africa in third ODI today

Cape Town, Feb 7 (IBNS): A confident India will take on a weak South Africa in the third ODI match at Newlands in Cape Town on Wednesday.

After demolishing South Africa in the first two ODIs, Virat Kohli and his men are at the top of their confidence level.

On the other hand, South Africa have not only lost battles on the park but also two major batsmen, AB de Villiers and skipper Faf du Plessis, who are presently out of the squad due to injury.

Young inexperienced Aiden Markram is leading the host team since the second ODI match.

While in the first match, riding on Kohli's brilliant century, India had emerged as victorious, the second game was full of bowling dominance by the visiting team.

India are leading the six-match ODI series 2-0.
