New Delhi, Apr 6 (IBNS): CEAT Ltd. on Friday announced its association with Shubman Gill, one of the risingstars of the Indian men’s U- 19 cricket team.
This bat endorsement deal makes Shubman a valuable addition to team CEAT which also has the likes of Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishan Kishan and women cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur.
He will now be seen playing with a bat prominently displaying CEAT insignia in all formats of the game.
Shubman Gill, India U-19 teamswas the most consistent batsman during the recent U-19 world cup and received the ICC World Cup player of the tournament award.
Born in Fazilka, Punjab, as a boy Gill moved from his hometown to Mohali to work on his cricket. His remarkable performances since 2014 have been bestowed with awards such as BCCI award for the Best Junior Cricketer for consecutive years in 2013-14 and 2014-15 and Man of the series trophy for his performance against England in 2017 U-19 series.
