IPL 2018: Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Delhi Daredevils by seven wickets

Hyderabad, May 5 (IBNS): Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Delhi Daredevils by seven wickets in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 164, Hyderabad reached home with one ball to spare.

Alex Hales (45), skipper Kane Williamson (unbeaten 31) and Yusuf Pathan (unbeaten 27 off 12) scripted the win for the home team.

Winning the toss, Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer had opted to bat first.

Delhi Daredevils scored 163/5 in 20 overs.

Prithvi Shaw and Iyer were the top scorers for Delhi with 65 (36) and 44 (36) respectively.

Rashid Khan was the best bowler for Hyderabad with a bowling figure 2/23 in four overs.
