IPL playoffs: Chennai Super Kings win toss, elect to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad

Mumbai, May 22 (IBNS): Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first qualifier of the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Wankhede Stadium here on Tuesday.

Kiwi captain Kane Williamson-led Hyderabad finished at the top of the IPL points table with 18 points.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai finished at the second spot with 16 points.

The winner of Tuesday's match will reach the final of the tournament straightaway.

The loser of the match will get another opportunity to qualify for the final. They will play against the winner of the eliminator match, which will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.

The first qualifier match is scheduled to begin at 7 pm.
