AB de Villiers retires from international cricket with immediate effect
Cape Town, May 23 (IBNS): South African explosive batsman AB de Villiers has announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket with an immediate effect.
The South African player took to Twitter to announce his retirement.
He confessed that he is "tired" and it is the time for others to "take it over".
"....to be honest I am tired" AB said.
The 34-year old cricketer added in saying, "This is a tough decision. I thought long and hard about it and I would like to retire still playing decent cricket."

The right-handed batsman played 123 Tests, 228 One Day International (ODI) matches and 78 T20 Internationals.
