Bengaluru, Jun 21 (IBNS): Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has taken a dig at his critics after clearing Yo-Yo test for the upcoming England tour on Wednesday.

After passing the test, Rohit tweeted, "Dear... it’s no ones business how & where I spend my time.I’m entitled to have time off as long as I follow protocol.Let’s debate some real news shall we & to a few channels,I had just 1 chance to clear my yo-yo that was today.Verification before reporting is always a good idea"

However, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami and right-handed batsman Ambati Rayudu had failed to pass the Yo-Yo Test.

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his immediate predecessor and veteran player MS Dhoni had passed the test in the last week.

Yo Yo Test is mandatory requirement to be selected in the national cricket team.

India's England tour comprises three T20 Internationals, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Test matches.

The tour will begin on Jul 3.
