Bangladesh appoints Neil McKenzie as batting consultant
Dhaka, July 21 (IBNS): The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced it has appointed ex-South Africa batsman Neil McKenzie as the national team's batting consultant.
"Former South Africa batsman Neil McKenzie has been appointed Bangladesh National Cricket Team’s Batting Consultant. McKenzie, 42, will work with the Bangladesh Team up to the end of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales," the cricket board said in a statement.
He is expected to join the National Team in Guyana on July 24.
McEnzie played 58 Tests, 64 ODIs and two Twenty20s for South Africa.
Following his retirement from international cricket in 2009, McKnzie has twice acted as South Africa’s Batting Consultant.
