Southampton, Sept 1 (IBNS): Top-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara played a brilliant knock of 132 runs to help the visitors post 273 runs in the first innings against England here on Friday.
India took 27 runs lead in the first innings against England.
England ended the day's play at six runs for the loss of no wickets in their second innings.
The home side trail India by 21 runs.
Alastair Cook (batting 2) and Keaton Jennings (batting 4) were at the crease as the day's play ended.
Replying to England's 246 in the first essay, India were bowled out in the first innings for 273 runs.
Moeen Ali shined with the ball and picked up five wickets to end the Indian innings.
