Durban, Sept 7 (IBNS): Former South African captain AB de Villiers said he will play the upcoming Pakistan Super League next year.

AB is considered as one of the most athletic fielders and stylish cricketers to play the game.

Sharing a video message, AB tweeted: "It’s time for @thePSLt20. So, there’s going to be a party in February? #ABaurPSL #psl2019."

In the video message, he said: "Pakistan Super League has grown into one of the top T20 tournaments in the world and I’ve really enjoyed watching PSL matches in recent years."

"PSL is a league that has given Pakistan so much to cheer about and I look forward to being on the field once again," he said.

Ehsan Mani, Chairman PCB, welcomed AB de Villiers to PSL and was quoted as saying by Geo News: “We are delighted with the signing of de Villiers for Pakistan Super League.”
