Indian cricket team fly off to Dubai for Asia Cup 2018

Dubai, Sept 13 (IBNS): After completing their long UK tour, Indian cricket team flew off to Dubai on Thursday to participate in the Asia Cup, which will begin in mid-September.

India's right-handed batsman Kedar Jadhav shared an image on Instagram where several of his teammates could be seen sitting inside a plane.

Off to Dubai for Asia cup 2018!!!

Dhoni, who only plays limited overs cricket, joined the team after a period of time when India played five Test matches against England.

Rohit Sharma will lead the men-in-blue in the Asia Cup as regular captain Virat Kohli has been rested for the multi-team competition.

India will play their first match against Hong Kong in Dubai on Sept 18.

The final of the tournament will be held at the same venue on Sept 28.
