Hyderabad, Sept 24 (IBNS): Kolkata Knight Riders continued their winning performance and registered their 12th victory on a row as they defeated Perth Scorchers by three wickets in a Champions League T20 match here on Wednesday.

Chasing Perth's 151 for seven, KKR reached 153 by losing seven wickets  with 2 balls to spare in the thrilling encounter.

The credit of winning the game went to young Suryakumar Yadav whose unbeaten 19-ball 43 helped the side register another victory in the tournament.

Yadav smashed four over boundaries and a boundary in his knock.

Yasir Arafat picked up three wickets for the Australian side.

Earlier, riding on Adam Voges unbeaten 71, Perth posted 151 on the scorecard.

Voges and Craig Simmons (39) added 68 runs in the first wicket partnership to give their side a strong start to the match.

Sunil Narine continued his magic and took four wickets by giving away 31 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav impressed with his performance as he took three wickets by giving away 24 runs.
