Baichung Bhutiathanks Modi for inaugurating first airport in Sikkim
Gangtok, Sept 25 (IBNS): Former Indian football team captain Baichung Bhutia on Tuesday thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating the first airport in Sikkim.
Baichung said the move will further improve the tourism sector in Sikkim.
"I would like to thank honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi ji and Ministry of Civil Aviation for inaugurating much awaited Pakyong Airport. It will definitely boost the tourism in Sikkim further. #sikkim #tourism #airport #PakyongAirport," he tweeted.
Modi inaugurated the Pakyong Airport on Monday.
Sikkim is considered as a major tourist destination in India.
