Umesh Yadav to replace Shardul Thakur in India’s ODI squad

New Delhi, Oct 16 (IBNS): The All-India Senior Selection Committee of the BCCI on Monday said it has named Umesh Yadav as Shardul Thakur’s replacement in India’s squad for the first two ODIs against Windies.

Shardul Thakur was injured during the second Test match of the series between India and West India.

India won the series 2-0.

Shardul made his Test debut for the national side in the Test match.

"Mr Thakur suffered a right adductor tendon injury and has been ruled out of the Paytm ODI series," BCCI said in a statement.
