Lucknow, Nov 6 (IBNS): Indian run machine Virat Kohli might be losing another record which is currently in his name.

Virat is currently the highest run-getter for India in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

He has scored 2,102 runs in 62 matches and an average of 48.88.

But, if things move in the correct direction then Rohit Sharma, who is leading the Indian side in the absence of Kohli in the T20 series against West Indies, might shatter the record. Kohli has been rested for the series.

Sharma is just 11 runs short of Kohli's 2102 runs.

In his 85 matches, Sharma has scored 2092 runs.

Sharma is just 11 runs short of breaking the record.

India and West Indies will meet in the second T20 match of the series on Tuesday in Lucknow.

India defeated the West Indian side in the first match of the series on Sunday.
