Hardik Pandya takes a stunning catch, netizens praise him

Mount Maunganui, Jan 28 (IBNS): Hardik Pandya returned to the Indian squad for the third ODI match against New Zealand and at once earned the appreciation of fans as he took a stunning catch to dismiss  Blackcaps' captain Kane Williamson. 

Hardik took a stunning catch off Yuzvendra Chahal's bowling to show Kane the way towards the pavilion.

Kane scored 28 runs by playing 48 balls in the match.

He hit four boundaries.

Hardik's two-handed diving catch left netizens to appreciate the all-rounder.

Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif was the first to praise Hardik when he tweeted: "That was a fielder’s wicket, absolutely stunning catch from Hardik Pandya. #NZvInd."

One Shankar More posted: "#teamindia #HardikPandya
Awesome catch."

Another Jameshubert remarked: "Good to see Hardik pandya back in the blues and he has already made a flying impact ."

On a lighter note a netizen Roshan Rai tweeted: "Hardik Pandya took a stunning catch to dismiss Kane Williamson. Hardik Pandya is extra vigilant towards everyone whose name starts with ' K '."

New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first in the third ODI match of the series.

India are leading the series 2-0.

Hardik Pandya, who was recently suspended by the Indian cricket board for his comments made in a TV show, has returned to the side for the third ODI match against New Zealand on Monday.

The suspension on Pandya was lifted recently.
