455 runs: Fakhar Zaman sets another new world record during ODI match against Zimbabwe

Bulawayo, July 22 (IBNS): Pakistani opener Fakhar Zaman has made record-breaking a habit and during the fifth ODI match against Zimbabwe he shattered another one.

Apart from becoming the fastest man to reach 1000 runs in ODIs, Fakhar also created a new world record for the most runs scored between two dismissals in the one-day format of the game.

He contributed 85 runs with his willow before he was dismissed in the fifth ODI against Zimbabwe.

In the first match of the series, he had contributed 60 runs with his willow.

He was dismissed int he match.

In the next three matches he remained unbeaten.

However, he scored 117 not out, 43 not out and 210 not out in the last three unbeaten innings.

With 85 runs on Sunday, the Pakistani batsman amassed 455 runs between two dismissals.

He also broke the record of Pakistani former cricketer  Mohammad Yousuf.

He had scored 405 runs between two dismissals in 2002 against the same opponent.
