Ajinkya scores 76 no to help RR beat CSK
Chasing Chennai's 156 for four, Rajasthan reached 157 runs by losing two wickets with 10 balls to spare.
Ajinkya Rahane clicked with the bat as he remained unbeaten at 76 and ensured Rajasthan a win in the group stage of the tournament.
Shane Watson (73) and Rahane posted 144 runs in the opening stand to nearly reach the target.
Ravindra Jadeja took Watson's wicket and then Dwayne Bravo showed Steve Smith (6) the door towards the pavilion to give CSK two quick jolts.
However, it was too late as Rahane and Karun Nair (1*) ensured eight wickets victory in the first match of the day.
Earlier, riding on Bravo (62) and MS Dhoni (31*) added 91 runs in the fifth wicket partnership to post 156 runs on the scorecard.
