Buenos Aires, Jan 5 (IBNS): Argentina football legend Diego Maradona, who was admitted in a hospital with internal bleeding in his stomach, has been released, media reports said

As per BBC report, the 58-year-old was having a routine medical in his home country when doctors discovered the problem.

His family said the diagnosis was not so serious.

"To all those who are really worried about my dad I tell them that is okay, that Giani is there with him and that in a while he goes home! I would publish the photo they sent me but it is not my style to publish everything!" his daughter Dalma tweeted.

In his glorious career,  Maradona had captained Argentina to World Cup victory in 1986.

He is currently the coach of Mexican second division side Dorados de Sinaloa.
