Cricket Australia names Tim Paine, Aaron Finch as new captains for England and Zimbabwe tours

Melbourne, May 8 (IBNS): The Cricket Australia has named Tim Paine and Aaron Finch as the new skippers for the upcoming England and Zimbabwe tours respectively.

Australia will play a One Day international series against England.

The CA has announced a 15-member squad for the England tour. Aaron Finch has been named as Paine's deputy in the ODI series.

The Aussies will play a T-20 series against Zimbabwe.

Aaron Finch-led 14-member squad has been announced for the Zimbabwe tour. Alex Carey has been named as the vice captain of the Australian T-20 team.

Paine and Finch became new captains for their national side as former skipper Steve Smith has been banned for a year by the Cricket Australia over the ball-tampering incident.


Australia's ODI squad:  Tim Paine (c), Aaron Finch (vc), Alex Carey Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Nathan Lyon, Glenn Maxwell, Shaun Marsh, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, D’Arcy Short, Billy Stanlake, Marcus Stoinis, Andrew Tye.

Australia's T-20 squad:  Aaron Finch (c), Alex Carey (vc), Ashton Agar, Travis Head, Nic Maddinson, Glenn Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, D’Arcy Short, Billy Stanlake, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Swepson, Andrew Tye, Jack Wildermuth.
