Delhi Dynamos register first win, destroy Chennaiyin FC 4-1

New Delhi, Oct 25 (IBNS) : It was time for jubilation for people of Delhi as their Indian Super League (ISL) team Delhi Dynamos produced a fine display of attacking football to destroy Chennaiyin FC 4-1 on Saturday.

The Delhi side registered their first victory in the tournament with this win.

Wim Raymaekers, Mads Junker,  Bruno Arias , Gustavo dos Santos netted four goals for the Delhi side.

Elano Blumer scored the only goal for Chennai in the 69th minute of the game which reduced the margin of defeat.

After this win, Delhi moved up to the fourth place on the points table. They have 5 points from  three matches.

Wim Raymaekers and Mads Junker took a 2-0 lead early in the first half.

Elano reduced the margin to -1 with his goal. But it was a 79th minute penalty conversion by Bruno Arias and a fantastic solo effort by substitute Gustavo dos Santos in stoppage time which completely snatched the match away from  Chennai's grip.

With six points, Chennai stand on the third position on the list.  They had won their last two matches.
