Dominic Thiem beat Djokovic in French Open semis

Paris, June 8 (IBNS): Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic's scope of winning another title as he was defeated in the French Open semi-finals by  Dominic Thiem  on Saturday.

Thiem will meet Rafael Nadal in the final match against Rafael Nadal of Spain.

Thiem defeated his opponent  2 3-6 7-5 5-7 7-5 in the semi-final.

The match began on Friday but was hit by bad weather three times.

"It was an unbelievable day for me,"  the winner was quoted as saying by BBC.
