England and Wales Cricket Board announces squad for third Ashes Test without James Anderson

England and Wales Cricket Board on Wednesday announced the squad for the upcoming third Test of the Ashes series but James Anderson was not named in the team.

The third Test will be played at Headingley in Leeds on Thursday.

The Three Lions make three changes from the team that lost at Lord's last week. Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood are included.

They replace James Anderson and Josh Tongue, who are rested and Ollie Pope is out of the rest of the series after dislocating his right shoulder at Lord's.

Australia is currently 2-0 up the series.
