Chennai: Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Friday said he will not play in the ongoing Indian Premier League.

He was a part of the Chennai Super Kings team.

He said he will not feature in the tournament this year due to 'personal reasons'.

"Dear Friends I will not be playing IPL this year due to personal reasons. These are difficult times and I would expect some privacy as I spend time with my family. @ChennaiIPL
CSK management has been extremely supportive and I wish them a great IPL," Singh tweeted.

Last week, Suresh Raina, who was also a part of the CSK team, decided to return to India and not participate in the tournament.
