India beat the opponents thrilling encounter.
India made a strong turnaround after suffering defeat at the hands of Australia in the previous match.
Rupinder Pal Singh gave India early success when he scored first for India in the 8th minute of the game.
Kazuma Murata scored the level scoring goal in the 13th minute.
Japan went ahead to score two more goals to move up 3-1.
Heita Yoshihara (43rd) and Genki Mitani (45th) scored two goals for Japan.
It was MandeepSingh and his heroic hat-trick which created magic for India.
