India on top in Pune Test, South Africa 198/7 at tea on day 3

Pune: Virat Kohli-led India are on top of their game in the second Test here as South Africa are struggling at 198/7 in the first innings on day 3 of the match on Saturday.

South Africa are trailing India by 404 runs.

Faf du Plessis is the only batsman who scored a fifty. He was dismissed scoring 64 off 117 balls.

Vernon Philander and Keshav Maharaj are unbeaten at 23 and 21 respectively.

Umesh Yadav picked three wickets for 32 runs. Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin shared two wickets each while Ravindra Jadeja picked one.

India in the first innings scored 601/5 declared.
