Indian team win silver in Asian Games Mixed Relay 4*400m final

Jakarta, Aug 28 (IBNS): Adding one more silver to the medals tally,  Anas, Poovamma, Hima Das and Rajiv Arokia finished second in the  Mixed Relay 4*400m final of the ongoing Asian Games here on Tuesday.

They clocked 3:15.71 to finish the race. 

Indian sports minister Rajyavardhan Rathore tweeted: " India on a Roll! Fabulous show of talent by our 4x400 Mixed Relay Team of #TOPSAthletes @HimaDas8, @muhammedanasyah, Arokia Rajiv & MR Poovamma. They bagged a clocking in an impeccable 3:15.71. Keep up the good work Champions! #KheloIndia #AsianGames2018."

Bahrain won gold medal by clocking 3:11.89.

Kazakhstan clinched the bronze medal by timing 3:19.52.
