New Delhi, July 27 (IBNS): With the India U-16 A Team busy on their exposure Tour in Germany, All India Football Federation has arranged for an International Friendly match for the U-16 B National Team boys who have been practising in Goa.

The squad left India to play a Friendly match at Ufa in Russia, which is slated to be played on July 28.

Speaking exclusively to www.the-aiff.com,  Scott O’Donell, Technical Director, AIFF reflected on the “great opportunity.”

“This is going to be a great opportunity for our boys to test themselves against a European team, that too in Russia. This is surely going to be a good test for them given the limited time they will have to acclimatise but we hope the experience will be a memorable one for the boys and the coaches.”

Ivan Sukharev, Member of the Russian State Duma and Jeysundhar D, Director, Jawaharlal Nehru Culture Centre from the Embassy of India, Moscow will be present at the stadium to cheer the boys.

The match is scheduled at 7 pm local time (7:30 PM IST
