IPL 2020: Rabada, Stoinis star as DC registers 59-run win over RCB

Dubai/UNI:  Delhi Capitals produced a clinical all-round performance to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 59 runs in the 19th match of the IPL 2020 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, here on Monday.

After being asked to bat first, Delhi Capitals posted a mammoth total of 196/4 in 20 overs.

Marcus Stoinis was the leading scorer, as he remained unbeaten on 53 from 26 balls. Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant too showed some power as the duo scored 42 (23) and 37 (25) respectively.

In reply, RCB crumbled under the pressure and could only score 137/9 in 20 overs, losing the match by 59 runs.

Kagiso Rabada emerged star with the ball for DC, picking up 4/24 including the key wicket of Virat Kohli.

With this win, the Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi unit have climbed to the top of the points table.
