IPL: CSK beat Hyderabad by 5 wickets

Sharjah, Apr 27 (IBNS): MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings continued their strong performance in the tournament and defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets here on Sunday.

Chasing Hyderabad's 145 for five, CSK reaced the target of 146 by losing only five  wickets with three balls to spare.

CSK openers-Dwayne Smith (66) and Brendon McCullum (40)-  gave the side a roaring start by adding 85 runs int he first wicket partnership.

In his 46-ball destructive knock, Smith smashed four  boundaries and five huge sixes.

Thought Hyderabad, pacers gave fans some moments to cheer by picking few quick opposition wickets but CSK skipper MS Dhoni (13*) and

Mithun Manhas (3*) reached the target without further damage.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar  and Ishant Sharma  took two wickets each.

Hyderabad earlier scored 145 for five in 20 overs.

Aaron Finch remained the top-scorer for the side with his 44 runs.

Ben Hilfenhaus  and Mohit Sharma picked up two wickets each for Chennai.
