Mumbai, May 5 (IBNS): Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by nine wickets in the 56th IPL match this evening.
With this, the Shah Rukh Khan-owned team has lost any hope of getting into the semi finals.
Batting first, KKR scored 133 losing seven wickets.
MI scored the winning runs with 23 balls to spare.
Captain Rohit Sharma was the highest scorer of the winning side with an unbeaten 55.
