Bangalore, May 17 (IBNS):With rain abandoning the clash against Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bangalore booked their seat in the play-off stage of the Indian Premier League (IPL) here on Sunday.

Delhi had earlier posted 187 runs for the loss of five wickets.

With just seven balls bowled in the RCB innings, rain came down heavily and forcing officials to abandon the game.

RCB had scored two runs for the loss of no wickets with Chris Gayle (1*) and Virat Kohli (1*) at the crease.

Earlier, JP Duminy (67) and Quinton de Kock (69) scored half-centuries as they helped the side to post 187 on the scorecard.
