Kevin Pietersen turns 38, cricketers wish

London, June 27 (IBNS): Former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen on Wednesday turned 38 as several players from the world of sports wished him on his special day.

Kevin tweeted: "Thank you! #Birthday #38."

Pietersen was considered as one of the biggest names in the world of cricket and specially English cricket.

He retired from international cricket in March this year.

Pietersen had scored  8,181 Test runs, avg. 47.28 , 4,440 ODI runs, avg. 40.73, and 1,176 T20I runs, avg. 37.93.

Cricket world wishes Pietersen:

Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar tweeted: "Happy birthday, @KP24. Wish you the best of health. May you have a great day."

Spinner Harbhajan Singh said: "Happy birthday @KP24 ! Hope you have a wonderful year ahead. All the best with your new lodge in SA! Forever young ."
