Mohit Sharma ruled out ODI series against WI

Mumbai, Oct 10 (IBNS): Indian fast bowler Mohit Sharma has been ruled out of the ongoing ODI series against West Indies due to 'bilateral shin pain', the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Friday.

Ishant Sharma replaced the fast bowler.

The BCCI said in a statement: "Mohit Sharma has aggravated his bilateral shin pain, and has therefore been ruled out of the ongoing Micromax Cup, India vs West Indies ODI series, 2014."

"The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Ishant Sharma as his replacement in the Indian squad," it said.

West Indies defeated India in the first ODI to go up 1-0 in the series.
