Mumbai Indians look to bounce back against Chennai Super Kings today

Pune, Apr 28 (IBNS): The 11th edition of Indian Premier League has so far been an utter disappointment for the defending champions Mumbai Indians, as they have managed to win just one match in six occasions.

Mumbai, who are presently placed at the bottom of the points table, will certainly look to bounce back against Chennai Super Kings in Pune on Saturday.

Chennai, on the other hand, are boosted up with brimming confidence following a thumping win against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday.

Ambati Rayudu's and MS Dhoni's explosive knocks in their last match have cemented Chennai's place at the top of the points table with a decent net run rate for the time being.

It would be interesting to see whom the Pune crowd cheers in the sporting encounter on Wednesday as the city, despite being in Maharashtra, is the home ground of Dhoni's yellow brigade.

Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra, were bowled out for a paltry 87 in the last match while the Rohit Sharma-led team were chasing a small target of 118 set by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
