Novak becomes number one Tennis player in world

London, July 7 (IBNS): Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic on Monday moved to the number one spot in the latest world rankings.

He replaced Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal.

" Novak Djokovic has today returned to No. 1 in the Emirates ATP Rankings for the first time since the week of 30 September 2013," atpworldtour.com reported. 

Nadal and Roger Federer stood in the second and third spot in the list respectively.

Djokovic defeated Federer in the Wimbledon men's singles final to clinch the title.

Britain's Andy Murray has dropped to 10th position in the world rankings.

He made a quarter-final exit at Wimbledon this time.
