Pakistan PM Imran Khan congratulates Afghanistan over Test match victory against Ireland

Islamabad, Mar 19 (IBNS): Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday congratulated Afghanistan cricket team for registering their first Test victory.

Afghanistan defeated Ireland by seven wickets in the single Test match series.

Congratulating Afghanistan Khan tweeted: "Congratulations to Afghanistan on their team's first ever win in test cricket. The Afghan cricketers have achieved amazing successes in such a short period of their exposure to international cricket."

Khan was himself a cricketer and he had guided Pakistan to win the ODI World Cup in 1992.

Imran Khan is considered as one of the best all-rounders and successful captain of Pakistan.
