Rafael Nadal returns to number 1 position after 3 years

Madrid, Aug 21 (IBNS): Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal on Monday returned to the number one position in the ATP Tennis rankings.

The latest rankings list was released by ATP on Monday.

Rafael reached the top spot with 7,645 points.

He removed UK's Andy Murray to reach the spot.

Roger Federer stood in the third position.

Nadal reached the top post after a gap of three years.

The Spanish player last reached the top of the  men's charts in July 2014.

He won his 15th Grand Slam title this year at Roland Garros.
